Jackson). After the death of his father, billionaire industrialist Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is told that the "Extremis" technology his father developed has become the basis of a weapon. Seeking to prevent its use, he instead created the Iron Man suit and uses it not to only combat those who would use his technology to wage war but also to prevent their very development. To do so he must fight not only their forces but also his own body which is slowly being poisoned by the Palladium radiation that fuels the armor's power.The film was released on home media on April 21, 2009. This is a single-disc release, packaged on a single-sided, dual-layered DVD.
