Kitab Al Hikam Bahasa Indonesia Pdf Download Kitab al-Hikam, a well known philosophical work of Ibn Arabi, is an encyclopedic manual of esoteric knowledge that deals with the nature of God and creation. The book is divided into four parts: Part One deals with the nature of Essence, Part Two with Divine Attributes and Actions, Part Three with Divine Perfections or Ways to attain them and Part Four discusses other metaphysical ideas. In addition to explaining these topics in a clear manner throughout its four parts, Kitab al-Hikam also contains anecdotes about philosophers from ancient history such as Socrates and Plato. The book also features poetry written by the author himself, as well as quotes from his other works. Ibn Arabi begins his treatise with the following introduction, translated here in its entirety: "This is a book to be read in times of solitude and contemplation, when the soul is calm and the senses are free from distractions. It should be read slowly so that each phrase may fill the breast with awe and reverence. If it is truly read, not superficially but with contemplation, this book will reveal deep crevices in the heart where wisdom will come to abide forever. Blessed are those who read it frequently. Those who know themselves only by name, and do not know themselves in reality, should never attempt to read this book or any other metaphysical work. First, they must purify their hearts from the defilement of passion and worldly attractions. With this purpose in mind, they must dedicate themselves to a spiritual guide who will help them uncover the secrets of their own being. They must be willing to endure whatever trial or tribulation is necessary for them to attain true purification. This is a difficult undertaking, for self-purification requires constant struggle and vigilance over one's thoughts and desires. But those who are able to rid themselves of all that is superfluous will find that this book has been waiting patiently all along for them. If the reader is someone who has devoted himself to God and strives to follow his will, then no book can be more profitable. For whoever studies it with modesty and piety will find his aim realized therein, and he will quickly come to see that all of creation is but a reflection of the eternal archetypal Form. This book contains the most profound truths concerning God's knowledge of Himself - for He knows His essence through its reflection. For this reason, whoever understands this book possesses true knowledge of God's innermost nature. He knows God better than a prophet or a messenger does. One who reads it should not approach this book unless he is a spiritual man, for it is the work of a spiritual man. Its secrets should be revealed only to those who seek to know themselves by stripping themselves of all that they are not. It is dangerous to the one who cannot distinguish the true from the false, for truth to him is falsehood and falsehood truth. For those who truly wish to read this book, God will help them succeed in their quest. cfa1e77820
